Overview of Radiology Equipment

 

The Medical College of Georgia has three MRI’s, one of which is 3T MRI Scanner.  Both of the CT Scanners are 64 Detector Scanners.  Our PET/CT has been recently upgraded to a time of flight scanner.  Two new Fluoroscopy units have been installed.  The General Radiology area has been renovated to include both replacement of all x-ray equipment with DR units, as well as redesign of the patient waiting area into a modern patient lounge.  Digital mammography, two new SPECT CT cameras, replacement of all ultrasound equipment and the peripheral angiography suites are in progress.
